Baby Boy Round Ripple

Kind of boring and traditional but I like making things simple. I made this for a girl at my work that is pregnant with her first baby which is a boy and due in October 2009.

My First Wearable!

I have been wanting to make something wearable (besides a scarf or poncho) for a while now and I finally found a pattern I liked and got the nerve to do it so here are some pictures, enjoy!

Lapghan for DH - Finally DONE!!

I started this lapghan over a year ago, maybe almost 2 years ago. Anyway, I worked on it here and there but stashed it away b/c its just a huge granny square and kind of boring. Well I dug it out over the weekend and finally finished it today which is a huge relief b/c its another WIP done.

Couple more things completed...

Nothing huge by any means but a couple more projects completed that I have been wanting to try.

Cradle purse pattern created by NavymomsNook on Etsy and Crochetville.

I have been wanting to try this pattern for the Double Thick Diagonally Crocheted Potholder so here is the first one I made.

Crocheting here and there...

I have been working on a few things here and there. The weather is starting to get nicer so I probably won't be crocheting as much but I will still work on some small things.

I made several little purses for my nieces for Easter, I am going to fill them with Easter grass, eggs and candy. I made another little purse and a scarf in a nice carrot orange colored yarn. Then I made up a few 8" squares for someone on Crochetville for an afghan for her mom.

I will be starting on making some more cradle purses here soon too so I will post pics of those as well. Enjoy!

Projects on the Side

Well I have been working on a few small projects since before Christmas, just stuff to keep me busy for a few hours and gives almost instant gratification.

I have made several different patterns of washcloths, face scrubbies and dishcloths. I have tested a few square patterns for Donna (Smoothfox on Crochetville), some Swiffer cloths and a really cool scarf pattern designed by Donna as well. Below are pics of some things I have done lately.
