Long Lost Aghan

Two years ago I started an afghan called Ocean Waves. It was a pattern I found in a Crochet Today! magazine. See pic below:

While I love the look of the afghan in the magazine I didn't like the way mine was turning out so I stopped working on it 3/4th of the way through and it sat for 2 years. I dug it back out just a couple months ago and decided to frog it and use the yarn for another afghan. Below is what I came up with, I think it turned out a lot better than the first afghan I had and I am glad I didn't give up on it.

Where to begin...

Well I went on another hiatus there for a while but I'm back again, lol. A lot has changed in the last year that has left me not feeling like crocheting but I am back and hopefully can stay motivated this time.

I am currently working on a granny square afghan for myself. One of the few items I have made for myself to keep. Over a year ago I originally was going to make the Ocean Waves afghan pattern that I found in a magazine and about 3/4 of the way through it I decided I didn't like it and stopped working on it. Instead of letting another WIP sit there not getting done, I decided to rip all of it out and start over. Now I am happy to say that my granny square afghan is almost complete and I couldn't be happier. I will post pics once its finished.
